Fees, Payment and Costumes 2010 - 2011:

Season:           Your Dance Team commitment begins in June and goes until the following June

Fees:                Members of the Mini, Junior, Teen and Senior teams of the YMCA Competitive Dance Team have
                        an active YMCA membership, and are responsible for the following fees:

           

YMCA Membership (Please contact HOTV Member Services Director with membership questions.)

 

            Youth (1st grade to 13 years old): $11.00 monthly bank draft.

            Young Adult (14 years old – high school): $23.00 monthly bank draft.

 

Team Fees

The fees can be paid for as a one-time payment for the entire season, or set up as monthly bank drafted payments. These are the only payment options available.  You will need to make the first month’s payment to begin a bank draft. Your Bank draft then this year will begin in October and end with your last draft taken in April.  

 

Team class times will be determined after auditions.

 

Required Team Classes begin the week of August 2, 2010

 

1 hr. Team Class Fee

$336.00 annual or 8 months bank draft = $42.00/month

45 min Team Class Fee:

$256.00 annual or 8 months bank draft = $32.00/month

30 min. Team Class Fee:

$176.00 annual or 8 months bank draft = $22.00/month

FCDA Costume Fee:

$80.00/routine (All groups and FCDA solos, duets and trios)

Ballet Class Costume Fee:

$65.00

Specialty Large Groups:

$100.00 (Note: Includes choreography fee & costume)

          NOTE:

  • You will be receiving a team confirmation/payment information form via e-mail approximately
         by July 15, with your required team classes/fees.

  • Your costume fees and full tuition payment or 1st month tuition bank draft and forms will be
         due by August 1, 2010, at the front desk of the HOTV. 

  • If you do not go into the HOTV to pay your costume fees and tuition by August 1, we will assume that your child is declining her FCDA team position(s) for 2010-2011.

 

Additional Costs

 

1.       Costumes
Costumes are required for all participants and will be selected by instructor.  

·         Competitive team costume fee is $80.00 per team per routine, which is also due by August 1.  

·         Required ballet class costume fee is $65.00 and is also due by August 1. 

·         An additional $25.00-$30.00 costume fee per medium may be charged if required for any extra accessories or dances usually determined by February 2011.

* All costume alterations and undergarments are the responsibility of the dancer.

 

2.       Dance Shoes
Please do not purchase new shoes prior to the start of classes
. Your instructor will notify each group after costumes have been selected (usually by Nov.) for each group as to what color and style will be required for your teams.  Prices vary.

 

3.       Team Earrings
The fee for team earrings is $15.00 per pair / per student required. Payment will be due approximately by November 1, 2010. If earrings are lost or broken during the year, it is your responsibility to purchase another pair from the studio.

 

4.       Team Warm Up
All new members will need to purchase a custom team warm up with team logo. The jacket will be mandatory for all members to order for a fee of approx. $60.00.  Matching warm up pants will be optional for an additional fee of approximately $40.00. 

 

5.       Competition Entry
Competition entry fees vary slightly, but usually $35.00 - $40.00 per dancer / per dance for each competition. Individual Performances fees are extra and vary per competition.  Prices are subject to change. These fees need to be paid by December 15, 2010.  

All transportation, meals and lodging are the responsibility of the dancer/parent for all competitions / conventions.

6.       Conventions
All teams will be required to attend one dance convention to be determined by the Team Instructors.  Cost varies per convention, however, could range between $75.00 - $175.00.

7.       Nationals
The decision to attend Nationals the following summer is determined by team coordinators and instructors. Costs depend on the team and competition.
