NEW for the 2011 - 2012 season: Fundraising guidelines have changed based on the YMCA Business Office guidelines.
Kwik Trip will be our only fundraiser. See the Kwik Trip page for details.
Kwik Trip orders will only be available for purchased between Aug 24 - Dec 7, 2011.The money that you fundraise this year can ONLY be used for Competition Fees and Convention Fees.
Here are the fees for competitions and conventions to help calculate your total amount for which you can fundraise:Competition Entry Fees:
Competition entry fees average to $40.00 per competition team / per competition. These fees are due by December 15, 2011. We will be attending 4 competitions in 2012. See the Competition page for details.
$160 competition fees per team such as teen silver jazz team, teen silver jazz team, platinum tap team, sr elite tap team, etc. (NOTE: Ballet, pointe, modern, fitness, technique classes do NOT attend competitions.)
Convention - Pick one:
$180 Showstoppers Convention
$90-100 Dance Olympus Convention
$100 Dance Masters Convention
All individual fundraising monies remain in the YMCA’s dance team fundraising account.
Individual fundraising profits earned in excess of a student’s established limits (noted above) will remain in the YMCA fundraising account and will be distributed evenly among remaining team members who have not reached their limit or help to offset costs that benefit the entire team..
This is not a contract. The YMCA executive team reserves the right to alter this policy if needed for clarification, fairness, or other reasons.
