Being a part of the FCDA "family" is a great way to meet other dancers who share your passion and their families who help support and encourage their dancers to be the best that they can be. 

 

Throughout the dance year, some the Parent Committees help the families connect as well as to raise funds that will defray the cost of out-of-town competitions lodging, competition entry fees, and the dance convention.  We would not be successful without parent support by volunteering.  
 

Working together, our involvement can make this dance year fun-filled and successful!

NEW for the 2011 - 2012 season: Fundraising guidelines have changed based on the YMCA Business Office guidelines.
  1. The money that you fundraise this year can ONLY be used for Competition Fees and Convention Fees.
  2. Kwik Trip will be our only fundraiser. See the Kwik Trip page for details.
  3. Kwik Trip orders will only be available for purchased between Aug 24 - Dec 7, 2011.
Here are the fees for competitions and conventions to help calculate your total amount for which you can fundraise:
Competitions:
$160 competition fees per team such as teen silver jazz, teen silver jazz, platinum tap, sr elite tap, etc.
(NOTE: Ballet, pointe, modern, fitness, technique classes do NOT attend competitions.)

Convention - Pick one:
$180 Showstoppers Convention
$90-100 Dance Olympus Convention
$100 Dance Masters Convention
